Just seen this ad below a news feed. Why would anyone want to apply for citizenship of a country that is currently ejecting citizens on the whims of an orange son of an immigrant who is allowing a once great country to plumb the depths of fascism?

Why are they singing the US national anthem and presenting military colours at the @fifaclubworldcup.bsky.social? Diluted shades of 1936 Olympics? I fear for a propaganda shitshow for the @fifaworldcup26.bsky.social and @olympicgames2028.bsky.social

Scooby Doo - Scrappy Doo ruined it.
3. What is the one show or film series you think was perfect until one new character ruined it?

Thank goodness the plan has nothing to do with artificially making stocks and shares plummet in order for his billionaire buddies to buy at a low price, then make them shoot up for those same buddies to sell them at a profit.

I seem to have upset the Nigel Farage fan club - so let me be clear.

This man sows hate, lies and division.

He is a grifter and a conman.

He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.

Repost if you agree

P.s. multiculturalism is great.

I don’t want a lot for Christmas,
There is one thing that I need.
I don’t care about the untruths
Spread by Farage and his creed.
I just want my country back,
The one we had before we cracked.
Make my wish come true -
All I want for Christmas is EU

Dear UK government and local government. Please take note. You want a viable alternative to the car? Make public transport affordable, convenient and sustainable.
Bus 🚌 on friday from Bristol Temple Meads station to Bristol airport, 14km, single £9

Bus 🚌 on monday from Créon (busy market town) to centre of Bordeaux, 28km, return €4.50

(Tram 🚉 from Bordeaux centre to airport btw, c 14km, €1.75)

The waterfall off the cliffs at Talisker Beach on the Isle of Skye. Spectacular. The photo doesn’t do it justice, but yet another amazing place in Scotland.

Christmas is on its way, and so a glass of Assyrtiko while listening to this and waiting for friends to arrive for dinner is the way forward.

Some top wines were consumed at yesterday’s Wine Society ‘Season’s Eatings’ dinner. Here are four of them. Juhfark from Kolonics, Moulin-à-Vent from Joseph Burrier, Rioja from Lòpez de Heredia and Jurançon from Domaine Cauhapé.

This is a very strong candidate for my wine of the year. Astonishing assyrtiko. Absolutely danced across the palate.

On an autumnal Hertfordshire dog walk, this is Ruby Murray, our 11-year-old yorkiepoo (sounds better than crossbreed, and easier to say than Yorkshire Terrier - poodle cross).

The view from Les Chaux, Gryon in Vaud, Switzerland to Les Diablerets on a sunny summer’s day in 2022.

The mountains of north Harris viewed from Losgaintir / Luskentyre. A beautiful part of the world. As you can see, the beach was packed out …

Another of my favourite views - this time of sunset at Dail Mòr on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. The natural world is a beautiful place. Let’s keep it that way.

First post on here - a calming view down Loch Seaforth and out into The Minch. Lewis to the left, Harris to the right. Because in these troubling times we all need space to breathe.

There will be a few more of my favourite views posted as and when.
