They were proven right in the sense that millions of older people’s lives, millions of younger people’s health ability, and hundreds of thousands of essential workers were deemed expendable.

At least they let us know where they stood/still stand.

So the shots coming out right now should be 2025/26 updated shots against KP.8.1 variant (Moderna Spikevax and new mNexspike) (Pfizer Comirnaty), (Novavax against JN.1 - older variant but should be ok).

Let me know your experience in your state if you have one!

In PA CVS pharmacists cannot give Covid shots/flu shots, which they have in stock now, without a doctor’s prescription.

For anyone!

Never dreamed this would happen for flu shots. Without ACIP meeting, many states can’t dispense shots.

Jesus. It’s just so bad it’s farcical. In that spirit check out my new logo for the the CDC (I guess click on my profile?). The new logo takes inspiration from the old timey Cracker Barrel nostalgia for diseases like measles, tetanus, and polio.
Make America Cracker Again might be an apropos slogan

Here’s a new logo for the institution formerly known as CDC, now rebranded as the CFD. Dropped “prevention”, because that takes work, expertise, scientists. Used a Cracker Barrel style that harkens back to the good old days of unchecked polio, measles, and other diseases. What do y’all think?
