Stephen Miller wants to spend $27 billion to deport 1 million immigrants, who currently contribute $89 billion in taxes each year.

Do the math: that's $106 billion
net loss for America.

Tell us again how it's not about racism and xenophobia.

Thank you for providing a more thorough and complete portrait of Russ Vought that identifies the threat he poses to democratic governance glossed over by other profiles.

Vought is likely the most dangerous person in the regime. Miller is focused on his white supremacist agenda to purify the nation. Trump is greedily doing everything to monetize his office. While Vought is quietly, systematically replacing "We the people..." with a Christian oligarchy.

We need to talk about Russell Vought – But Properly

Why certain mainstream outlets insist on sanitizing Vought as a devout “small government” conservative – and what actually animates his war against pluralistic democracy.

Some thoughts from my new piece:

'“Well it sounds like he’s not someone who appeals to a broader audience,” said Johnson of Benito, 31, who ... has tied Taylor Swift for having the most No. 1s on the Billboard Global 200 of any solo artist.'

Adelita Grijalva won her election fair and square.

Now House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to swear her in because she would be the final signature to release the Epstein files.

Mr. Speaker, respect democracy. Obey the law. Swear Representative Grijalva in immediately.

In other words, Bondi believes she has the authority to preemptively murder, without due process, anyone the regime decides to arbitrarily label antifa with only the flimsiest of circumstantial evidence. The crime of the "cartel" members has been to be on a boat in the Caribbean near Venezuela.

Jeffries: "The streets are hot right now on Capitol Hill because the Republicans are just falling apart. They cannot justify their position having shut the government down. They cannot justify their position in terms of hiding the Epstein files from the American people."

More of this energy Rep. Jeffries!!!! You can be a little more animated in these confrontations but calling out his refusal to let you speak and his vote for the Big Biilionaire Bribe are excellent starts. Now finish what you and Sen. Schumer started. No budget until healthcare is restored.

I doubt FORMER superintendent Walters, had the sense to destroy documents on his way out. So, I'm hopeful the state AG will find evidence of his self-serving malfeasance, if not enough to convict, at least enough to drag him through court for the foreseeable future.

This well researched, fully documented, and clearly analyzed case study is representative of what people intuitively know, that the U.S.A.'s dogmatic support of the market capitalism has led unconscionable concentrations of wealth while the bottom half of the population suffer needlessly.

🚨NEW PAPER🚨
We all know the 2022 energy price shock fueled the cost of living crisis. It also caused a profit bonanza for the very rich. We show the US reaped the largest profits ($377bn) of any country. 50% went to the richest 1%, only 1% to the bottom 50%. A🧵 www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
River or sankey diagram showing the allocation of profits from global oil and gas companies to quantiles of the US wealth size distribution via financial system intermediaries, such as asset managers, and categories of ultimate beneficiaries, such as business owners, pension funds and shareholders in listed companies. The scale is hundreds of billions of US dollars, and ultimately 50.4% of profits reaching the US personal wealth distribution go to the richest 1% of households.
