Attacks on the federal workforce are also attacks on Black workers, who are overrepresented in the public sector.

i do understand the sentiment that this ai boom"couldn't have come at a worse time" given the way we're going politically, but i think if you're still assuming it's all a bad coincidence, you gotta realize that the US went so hard on ai so it can do the fascist shit faster and more efficiently.

i do kind of forget that a lot of the people who are in their early 20s were not alive for (or at least not aware of) the cartoonishly misogynist social climate that was cultivated in the 2000s. society is still obviously misogynistic but some people would be shocked by what was regularly on tv.
