EU energy ministers reached an agreement to gradually phase out remaining natural gas imports from Russia with a full ban in place by 1 January 2028.
The final text will now be discussed with the European Parliament.

3 takeaways from @iea.org electricity 2025 report (there is definitely more!)
1) Solar PV hit the 2000 TWh mark (globally)
2) Globally, strong increase in electricity demand is expected at around 4% p.a. (so by 3500 TWh in 3 years)
3) all of that demand can be met with RES
