I found a vintage emporium in town that I have previously missed. I realise now that my husband has actively steered me away from this place twice before. Smart of him, because now I am undone.

The information superhighway is breaking down, in my opinion. It peaked and now it's fading. All Search functions - whether within a shop or standalone like Google - are now so heavily weighted towards adverts and algorithms that we can't find solid, clean, informative results.

I spoke to our suburban Big Issue seller today. I bought one because she looked cold, even though I don't want it because the print size is too small for me. I thought it would be insulting just to give her the money. Turns out she makes so little off the mag that she would rather have the £. Noted.

It seems I melted the non stick coating off the wok using our induction hob this evening. Is this why I have a stomach ache? Exactly how poisoned and out-of-pocket am I?

String group practice last night. I am such a bad, squeaky, violinist, until I am playing with other people and then some magic happens and I'm magically transformed into an average violinist. Love it!

I'm getting a lot more "purple firsts" by working it out with a pencil. And by pencil, I mean taking a screenshot and using a highlighter in edit mode.

I'm getting a lot more "purple firsts" by working it out with a pencil. And by pencil, I mean taking a screenshot and using a highlighter in edit mode.
