Demons or Nightmares as they're called are- generally speaking- the embodiment of negative emotion and are born of darkness. Nightmares can take on many different forms and can range in strength, but one thing is for certain, they always feed on the weakness of the soul and are drawn to strong feelings of negativity. Nightmares attack relentlessly and without mercy until they've destroyed or consumed their target. They also tend to come in packs with most acting without clear motive or rationale at times, though they can form hive mind like packs that recognize hierarchy and one or more ranking member. Like the queen of a beehive. Nightmares can be born, and they can be made. === So I had fun making this little sketch page. These are actually the main antagonists for my game. I went with goat imagery for them because historically the Devil has been portrayed as a goat-like figure. I also had this sick goatman design already running around from a couple years ago for something else and I need to use it. The goatman in the long robe looking up into the point of light on the right is the CENTRAL antagonist and the one pulling ALL the strings.

To elaborate alittle bit... When i first decided to start writing about Heartfelt i was just getting back into Undertale, and Deltarune by extension. And a friend, without spoilers, showed me Tenna and i dk what happened, but that goofy, glooby, little loser took me in a CHOKEHOLD on sight. I've gotten caught up on Deltarune and become familiar with Tenna of course. And it's kind of undeniable that Tex took ALOT of inspo in looks from Tenna, so i've been trying various things to separate them visually without totally redesigning Tex. Tex, fr instance is not a wholly mechanical(?) being like Tenna. And whereas Tenna is purely a personified object, Tex is essentially the ghost of a catlike being that's possessing a mechanical body, like it's a giant prosthetic for him. Heartfelt was originally gonna be a very Toy Story/Deltarune sort of story, but overtime i've morphed the concept to sort of more closely fit with the concept of a game i wanted to make back when i was just getting out of highschool. Which was ironically inspired by Undertale and the Underfell AU!! This is relevant because Tex was oriiginally designed and named the way he was because in the Toy Story/Deltarune concept he was the original personification of my PC. It's why he's named Sceptre "Muse" Tex. My monitor is a Sceptre, and my PC's case is a Muse Tex brand case. The more you know. In the current iteration, he's no longer the embodiment of my computer, the design and the name just stuck. I'm not at all ashamed of my inspirations, but that being said, as a creative i DO want my creations to stand on their own and shine in their own ways. :)

I've noticed that I've surpassed 30 followers on here... That's incredible, thank you guys so much! I think at 50 I'll do my first milestone celebration. I'll have to think of something to do for that.
