In case nobody else told you, that ESRB Resident Evil 5 rating news is very outdated info. Saw lots of places reporting on it yesterday, incorrectly.
The listing was actually made a year ago, alongside Resident Evil 6. Probably just a PS5/Series X re-releases of the games. Nothing to see here.

In case nobody else told you, that ESRB Resident Evil 5 rating news is very outdated info. Saw lots of places reporting on it yesterday, incorrectly.

Resident Evil lore run -- Chapter One COMPLETE! Incredibly fun time, way moreso than I'd been expecting. Genuinely recommend playing them this way if you ever get the chance, seeing the story play out in canon order was fascinating. I was expecting it to feel a bit more jumbled up than it was.

Its wild that Survival Unit is a gacha game without a fully realised gacha system. Those little dopamine hits are a huge part of those games, but hiding the premium heroes behind a hard pay wall is definitely a choice and will be its end faster than Capcom would like I expect.

Per a hands-on demo, PlayStation Blog have confirmed suspicions that Leon's hatchet in Resident Evil Requiem will have a sharpness mechanic.
Players will have to keep the weapon sharp in order to parry, but the hatchet doesn't break when blunt.
