i know this is a person presenting an extremely bad-faith argument but we really have forgotten that random noise is a thing we've been able to generate for forever. like the CSP brush one specifically pisses me off. it's called perlin noise. it's existed since 1982 you fucking bastard of the earth

Other M is one of the most wrong-headed games I've played in my life. A single man's attempt to erase the entire character arc of the character through the four Metroid (not Prime) titles because people interpreted character growth and attempted to replace her conscience with male infatuation.
Anyway, this misunderstanding is the reason why everyone was so taken aback by Other M. Nintendo and the fans have always had near-opposite impressions of who Samus is as a person, but the different takes only came into conflict once Metroid games started featuring other humans
