She set the tone for the entire community, making the R&SS chats some of the most joyous, collegial, non-toxic spaces in the entire digital world. It's up to each of us to carry her example forward. WWMD - "what would Mom do?" -- not a bad guide for our lives.

She has been dealing with a number of health issues for a while. She hasn't been on the chats for weeks and Richard Whig has been mentioning that he's been with her. Glynnis was asking for our prayers and mojo. Seems like she was in hospice or something like that.

I moved from Bergen County NJ (working in Mahattan across from the Flatiron Bld.) to Joplin, MO in 1999. I spent 8 years there. I lived through 911 there. Met my wife there. Taught college. It changed me forever. Maybe I changed a few Neosho weirdo I had in my Shakespeare class.
