Going "minimal" (ish) with the Minimal MP01 this weekend.

Curious beast for sure. E-paper display meets a full QWERTY keyboard and Android 14. The idea is: all the apps you need, but enough friction to prevent mindless scrolling.

Brown, a former social media manager for Wendy’s, joined Bluesky in 2023. Her X account was banned after she impersonated Elon Musk for almost two hours on November 4, 2022. The “incident,” as she calls it, happened shortly after X announced paid verification. Brown changed her profile picture to one of a balding entrepreneur and edited her display name to “Elon Musk (real).” She convincingly emulated his voice, posting musings like “my wife left me lol” and “my penis is NOT weird.”

Back in 2012, Pebble was my on-ramp to wearable technology, and over the next 4 years it evolved into a proper smartwatch platform that never lost its distinctive personality (until Fitbit bought it).

@captain2phones.bsky.social If you go to Kansas City within the next year and a half you MUST come to the #ArabiaSteamboatMuseum. The steamboat Arabia wrecked in 1856 full of frontier cargo. In 1988 it was excavated in a cornfield & is the largest collection of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world.
