Hey I made a Sonic fan comic that I'm calling "Hedgehog With Attitude". Here are the first three pages. Check it out and maybe I'll continue it when I have more time.
Five panel comic page of a Sonic fancomic. PANEL 1: South Island, a'la 8-bit Sonic 1. Narration Box: South Island, that mystical place across the sea. The travelling isle that people call magical. That's where it all happened, if the rumours are true. PANEL 2: A silhouette of what looks like Sonic. Narration Box: A lightning fast hero saved the peaceful island from becoming something else. Something sinister. He struck like a force of nature. Like an overpowering wind. PANEL 3: Silhouettes of Sonic and Eggman over a sunset, the Egg Mobile falling apart and belching smoke. Narration Box: The despicable villain who threatened to use South Island in his awful machinations was chased away... PANEL 4: The sun rises in the background of silhouetted flowers. Narration Box: ...And peace was restored in the blink of an eye. PANEL 5: Tails, in Green Hill Zone, talking excitedly in front of a shadowed furry figure, wearing a yellow backpack and holding a newspaper cutout of something vaguely spiky. Tails: So yeah, I had to go see it for myself! The place where he saved the world! ‘Cause maybe then I could meet him in person! That hero… Six panel comic page of a Sonic fancomic. Rabbit: Yeah, dunno where you got THAT name from. PANEL 4: Tails, continuing to look excited. Tails: Oh, that’s way cooler! I guess the news got a bit distorted by the time it reached my island. Still!! Do you know where I can find him? That, er, Sonic person? PANEL 5: All three characters, the squirrel and rabbit explaining to an expectant, curious Tails. Squirrel: Well he doesn't really stick around for very long. Rabbit: His whole thing is speed, after all. Just... zippin' around the place. I only ever saw him once or twice, to be honest. PANEL 6: Tails, walking off with vigour and a smile, as the squirrel waves him off with some small concern. Tails: Um, that's fine! I'll find him myself! I'll just look for the fastest, spikiest thing in the area! Squirrel: Good luck with that, kid... Six panel comic page of a Sonic fancomic. PANEL 1: Tails continuing to walk further into Green Hill Zone, grasping his backpack straps tightly with a big grin on his face and closed eyes. The squirrel's hand can just be seen poking out the edge of the panel. Squirrel: ...We only ever see him when something's going wrong. Tails: Okay! Straight into danger I go, then! PANEL 2: Tails squints and scratches his head. PANEL 3: We see the peaceful Green Hill Zone spread out in front of him, with a tall seal talking to someone offscreen, a shuttle loop in the distance and flowers dotted around. A butterly flutters nearby and a slightly reddish rock is beside Tails. We view him from behind as he stares at this scene. Tails: There doesn't appear to be any of that going on right now. I mean, I guess peace WAS restored and all... PANEL 4: Tails rests an arm on the rock, which looks even more reddish in this light. He narrows his eyes, clearly disappointed. Tails: But what's a guy gotta do to find some good ol'-fashioned peril around here? PANEL 5: The "rock" turns around and is a Moto Bug badnik. Tails' tails perk up and he has a nervous, overly large grin on his face as he raises a finger victoriously. Tails: Now that's more like it! PANEL 6: Tails is running away panicked with a wide open mouth as the Moto Bug chases. We can just see it aggressively slashing its metal claws at him as its whole form does not fit in the panel, just peeking in from the left. Tails: YUP THAT'S SOME QUALITY DANGER RIGHT THERE AAAAA

Thinking about how Danganronpa Abridged Thing kinda just happened way back when and how big it was in the fandom for the first few episodes and then I essentially crashed out halfway through the story so it's no longer relevant.

For that whole first arc it was a pretty wild time though!!

Hedgehog With Attitude Page 11.

This time next month is my birthday and the first one I've had since I got my fancy new permanent health issue, so maybe I'll celebrate by drawing something big and ambitious entirely for myself.

Like 40+ images of Firga and Yomi not wearing clothes. Y'know, really shake things up.
