Usha Chilukuri, at Amy Chua's urging, married down to one ambitious and amoral enough to give her a shot at power. She has dutifully endorsed every horrific thing he has done, even at the expense of their children. It would be poetic for her to be discarded now for a young, white trash trophy wife.

Why’re they going down to unheard of levels to demean precisely those who selflessly serve all people in times of severe need is completely way beyond any realm of reality. Unless of course some in power feel threatened by the professionalism of others.
My sister is a nurse. My oldest daughter is a nurse. My wife is a lab tech. And...and one time...I was a nurse. Don't tell my family...or the hundreds of thousands of other families...that nurses...and those in the health field...aren't "professionals."
