Anyone know how the match tickets ballot works if you've applied for more than one? FINALLY had a successful one for Newcastle, but only notification about and payment taken for one ticket when I entered for three, one each for me and my lads..

In your town tomorrow.
Get along to this if you can at @deadinkbookshop.bsky.social tomorrow, lids. Matt's a great writer, a top bloke and the lynchpin of the England Writers FC footy team. A literary event, couple of pints along Smithdown, what's not to like, like?
This is tomorrow @deadinkbookshop.bsky.social. I'm really looking forward to it. Do come along if you want to see how much an author can age between the release of their first and second novels. deadinkbookshop.com/products/the...

Still hunting a ticket for Villa, South Lower block B, as close as possible to Row 22 seat 208 (agot two there and need a third for my youngest so any other section is no good). Highly unlikely I know, but desperate to take both my lads if possible so if anyone is selling please let me know. Thanks.
Given that this seems a pretty unfeasible idea, if anyone gets wind of a spare for Villa in South Lower block B, as close as possible to Row 22 seat 208 give me a shout, more than happy to perform acts of utter depravity in gratitude.
Anyone who's been in the safe standing section at Hill Dickinson, how wide are they? Got two tickets for the Villa game, hoping to get a 3rd for my youngest, if i cant get one right by us, was wondering if a skinny adult and 16 and 13 year old lads could squeeze into two 'seats' without encroaching?

These ticket ballot things. Is this now the only way to get tickets, as opposed to previously when they went on sale for members, then general sale etc? So if you're not successful in the ballot is there no other sales windows? Find some aspect of the new system a bit confusing.

Damning Pickford with faint praise

He’s only England No.1 because everyone else is shit

That’s Jordan Pickford. Never put a foot wrong internationally, been outstanding at Everton, and picked up more clean sheets than his beloved Alisson over the last 2 years

Fucking Moron

Obscure question but does anybody have any footage of Colin Harvey walking onto the pitch for his 2003 testimonial against Bologna? Have found some stills but no video footage on youtube. Must be some archivist out there with a grainy clip.

A thread and a rant from a very frustrated grassroots junior sec and coach:

For the last 16 years, with the only exception being during Covid, York City's stadium (first Bootham Crescent, now the LNER) has hosted the Grassroots York FA Cup Finals, girls and mixed teams, through the age groups.
