I thought that I was going to recieve my copy of Metroid Prime 4 today since it was shipped yesterday but it's not looking likely at this point. Everything about this game has been torturous and I haven't even started playing it yet

For how much people seem to despise handholding in Metroid games it certainly feels like I see a disproportionate amount of Metroid Fusion praise

I can't imagine Nintendo's thrilled about the Metroid Prime 4 reviews after a development reboot and a further six (nearly seven) years under Retro Studios. Not to say it's disastrous, but probably a softer reception than anyone anticipated following the initial 2017 teaser

I got mine for Christmas in 2009, and even after four years of being on the market it still felt exciting and new. Also, I'm pretty sure I wasn't even aware of its existence until Gears of War released, which absolutely blew my mind when I first saw it
