Recorded a podcast this afternoon with Lizzie Fisher, principal of Higham Hall on the life of Kurt Schwitter who died in 1948. We ended at Merz Barn adjacent the Langdale Estate having followed his favourite walk from Ambleside. His avant-garde multimedia art had a huge impact in his time.
