Really enjoyable adventure game (10-15 hourrs) blending action-RPG combat, dungeons with small puzzles and a bit of platforming.
Combat is fairly simple but works pretty well, each girl has her own powers. Bosses are a mixed bag tho.
Beautiful 2D.

Founded by Retro Studios devs, they mostly did ports and helped on Fortnite.
They also worked on Recore. I liked it, however the game was (literally) unfinished until the Definitive Edition. Just another great management from Xbox.

That's already much more time spent on my Switch 2 in six months than on my PS5 in over two years, so no regret selling my PS5 to buy the Switch 2 lol

Otherwise cool concept, nice OST, but even if we unlock transformations, it's repetitive with not a lot of missions/variety.

Short but fun action-platformer on Saturn. Very charming and colourful graphics, and silly story.
There's some jank moments but a nice variety of levels (platforming, shoot'em up, on-rails, underwater...) make up for it. Good surprise overall!

Took me a while to get the good ending. A silly parody of the genre but you can tell the series was made by shoot'em up veterans!
Fun references and music (a lot of classical remixes), gorgeous animations and good replay-value thanks to the objectives/paths.

Very good shoot'em up on Saturn, took me a fair amount of tries to beat it. Theres 3 playable characters and another great OST by Hitoshi Sakimoto!
Figured out it was made by the studio which then made Kururin, some Bloody Roar and co-developed Pikmin 4.

Definitely not their most popular title, so I'm curious! It's adapted from the manga and was released only in Japan, but got an english fan-translation.

The mini-reviews are back. Sometimes, you just need to play a masterpiece to find the motivation again!

It's now by far my favourite shoot'em up! A masterfully crafted masterpiece.
It got the whole package: addictive and deep gameplay, rewarding progression, high replay value, amazing bosses, fantastic OST and even a good story!

Replaying Doshin kinda made me want to use this controller more again + I enjoy playing games with OG controller.
I don't need better graphics than Gamecube games in HD!

However he did a lot for the Crystal Chronicles series and was even the director of The Crystal Bearers on Wii, you should play it!

- Trust NPCs getting stronger for solo play, it'll be possible to upgrade their stats & equipment (kinda like party members in a single-player RPG)
- Replay story feature, like NG+
- QoL/systems improvements
- New battle content

Big sales on Bravely Default HD (10€) so it was a great opportunity.
I liked Pikmin 1 and 2 on Gamecube a lot and I really want to play 3 and 4 this year.
And Puyo Puyo Tetris because why not, I like Puyo Puyo, I like Tetris, so what could go wrong?

The versus mode is so chaotic, a sort of precursor to Super Smash Bros.
Overall an incredible game that is now in my top 3 from Treasure!

The 3rd game (Shiroki Tsubasa no Inori on Super Famicom), which was already re-released in Japan should follow apparently
The series has music by Michiko Naruke (1-2), Motoi Sakuraba & Shinji Tamura (3)
