Level-design is good overall with light "metroidvania" elements and it's fun to find gems and power-ups.

Characters are likable and the story actually gets tragic at times, despite many fun moments. Music is okay but in general doesn't particularly stand out.

Final Fantasy III (3D Remake)

i play Switch mostly in portable and XC2 goes down to 378p in handheld, it's genuinely awful

played Xenoblade 1 day one, dropped Xenoblade 2 coz it looked terrible on switch, waiting for a NS2 upgrade :p

yup it's the opening of the game too!

nope it's been getting new updates and new content consistently, and got a spike of active players last year (the highest in the last decade apparently)

I started my Final Fantasy XI journey a bit after Yoji Fujito took over as Director, and I've been enjoying reading his posts since then.

You can feel he has a genuine love for the game and really wants to keep improving it, especially for new players, even after 20 years!
