I’d like to see all the other images from the four rolls the author shot 🤔

Yes it’s the personalities of the vehicles which particularly appeals to me, as well as the intrepid way they are used.

This Weston Master III works well and it’s very tidy for a septuagenarian. Includes solid case in very good condition, from an earlier v2 meter. Asking: £25. More: filmcameras.uk/product/west....

A light meter laying on a wooden table. This is a product shot for a website listing.

These would make an excellent book/zine. Lots of crossover with the weird car types. (Hey @mrbwa1.bsky.social is there a good #weirdcartwitter equivalent in the Bluesky?)

Without using a search engine or other reference system, do you know why the names 'Franke & Heidecke' are significant?

For want of a polling system here, perhaps you could 'like' or reply with a thumbs-up if you do.

The three close-up lenses arranged on their case and placed on a table. This is a product photograph taken with an iPhone.

This 1st Gen Polaroid ONE has: Clamshell design to protect the gizzards. Flash with on/off/red-eye modes. Self-timer. Tripod mount (!!) and clever wrist/palm strap arrangement. Think of the creative options 🤔. It’s good, so we’re asking £45.

The Polaroid ONE, in open mode, sat on a wooden table in front of a book about mushrooms. The book has a plant on it that doesn’t like this silly hot weather we’ve been having. Neither do I. Anyway the image was taken with an iPhone and had some vignette added to look a bit fancy. A pic of a Polaroid pic taken with this camera. It’s wonky but it demonstrates a shot with flash off in low light on a tripod. The image is inside my kitchen looking out the window from fairly far back. A photo of a Polaroid photo. The image shows a harvested wheat field in the evening sun with a tractor on it. Long shadows create nearly black areas. I pulled over a bit erratically on the Cirencester Rd to get this, should have indicated sooner. Sorry following Tesla.

I'm thinking about extending the photowalk.me functionality to photography clubs. It would give clubs their own landing page, membership admin, collection of fees, club calendar of events etc. Is there anyone on here a member or organiser of a photo club who would find this of interest?

Well.. that's a first... somebody must have asked what they needed in order to use M42 lenses with their FujiX mount body 🤷🏻‍♂️. Thanks AI. I guess. Still hate you though.

It’s a small step, but really I’m pleased to have some Film Cameras UK stock in local lab, The Darkroom UK 😊

Really must get back to fixing some “proper” cameras and put these fun Polaroids down.
On the bench needing various things:
Olympus OM1n, Trip & OM10. Pentax SuperA. Canon T70. About 25 lenses, various.
Under the bench: About 50-60 other items requiring some kind of repair.

Great, thank you.

Thanks. I've become a bit obsessed with them. Never thought it would happen.

Bet the Range Rover was listening to Nickelback. And the some Celine Dion. And then Ed Sheeran. And if asked what sort of music it was into it’d say “oh anything really”.

I’d have leapt on that! Maybe I have a problem…

Very pleased to find some #Polaroid 600 locally at Clifton Cameras (nowhere near Clifton now 😅). With pretty strong feelings about ‘buying local’ and not from BigCorpInc etc, I usually get it from a tiny shop in Cirencester, but they had no stock. Now to test some more cameras! 🙌

If you’re kind of local I’d heartily recommend one of the competitive events, like the 6th Sept Midland Championships meet. Just to see the other end of the scale, 35 second times as opposed to the 60+ sec times from yesterday.
