I honestly know the feeling. it’s quite similar for many minorities such as I for those who are from the deeper parts of the South such as Louisiana and Alabama.

I do think you should continue to experiment with how her dialect is written because it is worth speaking about in comics. as it is—

thank you for the explanation, Zack! I was wondering about it since with a lot of media with nods to Southern Vernacular I am often quite iffy towards. I wanted to highlight a discussion towards it since clearly more could be expressed about it. especially as someone who is also into language.

that is a great way to learn indeed. before I switched majors I learned about cult language through researching Jim Jones for a news recreation we had to do for the class. so much of it is simple manipulation psychology. I was always happy that you and Momoko nailed the vibe perfectly.

genuinely this is one of the best books out of the Absolute Universe line. gorgeous art, amazing usage of mythology and scripting, and it is a delight to see characters gawk at how cool Wonder Woman is every issue.
