Artist, though alas, not of enough renown to avoid less exciting employment. Long time blow in to Cork City.

You laugh, but the Hammond kids tricked the velociraptors with a mirror image in that kitchen one time, and they're the smartest dinosaurs there is.

After talking about it earlier, I've just discovered The Mysterious World Of Arthur Clarke is on YouTube. The evening's viewing sorted. It used to scare the bejesus out of me as a kid . Of course at the end of every episode Arthur C Clarke said it was all cobblers , parodied so we'll by The Goodies.

So Bloke messaged me earlier ,saying things are going retro later .Turns out he hadn't found a purveyor of Babysham, but had dug out a load of old games from the attic. Didn't have this one as a kid, but getting 25 shapes in the right place in under a minute is impossible!

I bought this fabulous Creature from the Black Lagoon necklace and earrings from Luxulite 's creature feature range . I also thoroughly approve of the message on the free sticker that came with them

Had a very interesting chat in the pub in Kent with a top guy at an architectural firm that does a lot of work on medical / science projects.
The subject of a certain firm involved in lots of high profile building controversies over here came up. I asked why they keep winning contracts....

Heads up if you use Revolut and are flying with #ryanair they don't accept Revolut on board for payments over €50 even if you have the physical card on you.

All packed up and ready to get the trains to Gatwick. Mad that the journey to and from Gatwick, approximately an hour's drive by car cost me €40 more than my flight from Cork to Gatwick.

Drawing dinosaurs with my 5 year old gran nephew. Apparently it's important that all the dinosaurs are having a poo.

Caught up with a few good mates from back in the day earlier . Lovely folk , great craic.

Hurrah for having a bro 14 years older with also geneticly shit eyesight. In a post pub chat that I'm sure he found riveting, I was bitching about bad eyeliner due to forgetting my 10x magnifying mirror and he produced a big one he used for shaving.
So I should look half decent meeting old mates

I could 've got these @tetzoo.bsky.social books sent to my gaff in Cork off Amazon, but by ordering off his site and sent to my Brother's, they came not only signed , but with fantastic bonus drawings (and sticker).
I should fit Dinopedia in my tiny carry on . My bro will bring the other at Easter

Ah how I love the traditional 20 minutes feeling clammy, couped up in a stairwell that is the precursor to a Ryanair flight.
Still , my back pack fitted in the bag sizer ( I wasn't asked , checked myself earlier) with plenty of room . So charity shops are go !

We're in quite a situation in Ireland right now.
One of our leading left pols has been called names forever because he once participated in a protest which immobilised a car carrying a govt minister for an hour.
Meanwhile our Táinaiste has had many supportive words for those who burn out migrants.

I was initially not overly enthused at Bloke gifting me Ready Or Not as I don't play FPS games or games set in modern settings, but we just had a go at a joint mission, him on his PC , me on my Steam Deck, and it was pretty fun! #gaming

Very excited about this #dinosaur exhibition coming to UCC . It'll be great to go to the Glucksman Gallery and not leave mildly baffled 😆

Off to the old country to visit my brother and hopefully a friend or two in 2 weeks . Booked the basic fare with just 1 small carry on for the first time ever.
Endless click bait headlines tell me it's nigh on impossible to not get charged an extra 75 by Ryanair .
We shall see...

I have my 6 monthly free doctor's check up after work. In retrospect, being weighed and getting blood tests directly after the bank holiday weekend that was also the Jazz.
Was at a house party Sunday night till late and consequently spent yesterday eating all the carbs known to humanity.

Out jazzin' just saw a woman make it back through a rammed bat with 4 baby Guinness, only for one of her mates to drop it immediately upon being handed it .
A tragedy of Shakespearian proportions #speirgorm #cork
