I was in corporate America as well, & the stunning amount of waste and inefficiency is breathtaking. Anyone that tells you that only the "free market" gets you the best outcomes at the lowest waste has never worked a day in their life in an actual business. That is skipping the mismanagement.

Which is EXACTLY what we predicted would happen. Government, contrary to popular American belief, is pretty efficient in using tax dollars-- because they have to by law, are usually underfunded & are answerable for what do-- except those that are "special", like Defense & CIA.
