Sometimes it’s good to remember that despite the news, and stress and wackiness in the world…the sun always rises and a new day of possibilities begins. This is my view this morning. 😍

These two have been trying to make me fashionable for 50 years! Beautiful clothes, couture coaching; they even gave me a job in the 80s! 🙃 Alas, I’m still a silly-stylenator, but filled to the top with both Courage and Love! Happy 50th Birthday Courage My Love! 🎉 💞 #CourageMyLove #Family #Toronto

Sometimes you’re just wandering along and POOF! There’s an artichoke growing in a museum’s garden! 🤩 I just love that. #Garden #Artichoke #NatureIsAmazing

Big thanks to @nondriver.bsky.social for making the trek to Ottawa, Canada to share her thoughts and passion (and book) about a world where transportation planning includes those who don’t or can’t drive. So many stories in the room. So many ways we could do better. 🚌 💞 🚲 #Ottawa #transportation

My heart is so sad for all the beautiful spaces in the US National Parks that have just lost their loyal caretakers. The dynamic duo of dysfunction and destruction never cease to dismay me, but the power of protest gives me hope. #StandUp #SpeakUp #WeCantGiveUp
Brilliant protest. Yosemite National Park workers hung an upside-down American flag — traditionally a symbol of distress or a national threat — thousands of feet off the ground on the side of El Capitan.

I grew up in a family that hunted, grew our own vegetables, kept bees and made maple syrup. I often joke that I’d be a great pal when the zombie apocalypse comes, but now I’m just thinking these might be good skills to deal with the aftermath of Trump f*ckery. 🇨🇦♥️🦫 #OhCanada #LifeSkills #1870sChic

I have just downloaded the most important US EPA reports I use for my work. It would be a detriment to so many environmental organizations to have this valuable research and data become unavailable. We have to work together to get our planet back on track. 🌎 I truly hope I’ve just wasted my time…

Folks don’t like bullies, uncertainty or stupidity. I think Trump just shifted Canadian buying patterns for a good long while. 🇨🇦❤️‍🩹🦫 I know I’ll continue to buy from local (or kind) producers whenever possible! Will you? #BuyLocal #BuyKind #BuyCanadian #BuyLess

Just a cool pic I took today on a little field-trip with my dad. It’s one of my favourite buildings in the world…and happens to be the largest log building in the world too! 🪵🔥🦫🫎 #ChateauMontebello #LogDesign #FieldTrip

There are over 30,000 species of flora and fauna in Ontario. Humans are just one of those. Let’s take a moment to ponder that…and our relative impact within that space. #Ontario #PonderThat #KnowYourImpact
