Having a kid in elementary school is another full time job. So at this point I am: a public servant, a mother, and also some sort of School Manager. Homework, theme days, parent teacher, craft reminders, class donations it's just way too much but there's no choice :)

I lost a dear friend over night. Someone I grew up with and met through our shared childhood type one diabetes diagnosis. He was a pillar in our community, a ray of light, and made everything incredibly fun. I feel a lot of anger towards this stupid disease, it seems like every year we lose another

I would pay good money to have a house visit, or my actual doctor deal with trying to get my kid vaccinated. Random Pharmacies/pharmacists with lines 40 people deep are not helpful for fearful children.

I want to go fall camping real bad. I wish we had a few campgrounds open all year. I love nature, roughing it, sleeping outside etc etc. but the one thing I need as a 41 y/o perimenopausal woman is a flushing toilet. My fear of outhouses is unmatched.
