- Interested in how next chapter will be paced since the ingame battle itself is kind of just about recovering the rings and less so character conflict.
- I kind of want to see Alear's body give out more gradually over time
- Feel like next cliffhanger could be right around the next death or so

- Again I still wonder if Eveyle will have any more fight going into the divergence with her amplified power or if Veyle will just rip off the other horn afterwards since half her speech has happened already. Like her being there with crpt. Alear could easily go worse for them.

Thoughts on next chapter:
- Zephia and Griss didn't leave onscreen. They could have still left offscreen, but the battle could be more interesting with them I feel
- Corrupted Alear being a cliffhanger makes me wonder if he's going to look different like the past/red one based on Veyle's memories

- Veyle still in the middle of fighting back and reviving Alear at the same time is also an interesting mix of developments? It does add more doubt/tension to her actions while leaving another opportunity for Alear to confront Eveyle with before her death that she wasn't there for before? Who knows

- The pacing so far has flowed pretty nicely, though Alear didn't get to say as much in death and his conversation to Veyle also doesn't dwell as much on convincing her not to give up or what to live for, but it still works for its importance. I liked her thoughts of being inspired shown here.

- The extended false dream/afterlife scene is an interesting decision in place of the canon flashback we already saw. especially with Alear deciding to leave the peace on his own.
- I like the insert of the prologue's final panel.
- Also the stewards got to be onscreen again too at least.

- The manga being able to show actual blood and impacts is cool though they hide Alear's right arm
- Another past Veyle flashback is nice and makes that stone look very big
- Gradlon makes Lythos look really dark here like its official art
- Evil Veyle resurrecting the dead generics flows nicely

- Actually seeing Sombron in action to kill some generics and blast the army even with engage rings definitely makes his presence a lot more intimidating (even if he aura farms about only using half of his power)

- Overall I feel like this chapter made the pace work really well even following the game's scenes but not the map structure and I hope the next moments can get treated just as well.
- didn't have eveyle's annoyance to alear being her sibling but we might get a first reaction next time...?

- I hope the present bosses have more time to engage in some combat to let the despair sink in. the rest of the cast could use some time to shine here especially the stewards.

- I feel like the next chapter has enough potential material from just the cast reacting to alear's death and some combat for rings before even going into ch22's scenes proper
- I can't help but feel like the helmet will regenerate or veyle will just take the other horn off but I hope to be wrong.

- the effort and setup for marni's death really did pay off here, getting to see her internal monologue. being praised by both mauvier and veyle in the end was a nice sendoff as well.
- veyle fighting back by crying in response and alear breaking off the helmet is a good flow. real fe5 ch5 moment
