Toffee the Chihuahua and Tiny Tina the Grey Tortoiseshell Cat laying back-to-back on the big couch. Toffee is asleep while Tina has her head turned all the way around to sleepily look back at Toffee.

Boos the Chonky Black Cat doing his famous headplant, where he stands up and puts the top of his head on whatever surface he's on, my belly in this case. He usually does this in response to really good pets and/or scritches, especially if they're on the back of his neck. There is also Bonny the Tabby Mama Cat laying on my lap in the background.

Two of the nine strays that hang out on our porch, Mr. Pinky and Miss Turkle. They are curled up together while they sleep in a flowerpot.

My right hand the day after I broke it. The skin is red and swollen everywhere except the knuckles, which are pale white and swollen.

My right hand bandaged up in a temporary splint after the initial doctor's visit.

My right hand out of the splint, which is sitting next to my hand on my desk. I am trying to make a fist palm-side-up, but can barely get my fingertips an inch from my palm, which is visibly bruised. My pinky finger is curled too far in under my ring finger.

My right hand in a black fiberglass cast which immobilizes my ring and pinky fingers together. My other fingers and thumb are mostly free but still have somewhat limited mobility. I have to wear this until October 30th at the least.
