Friend of mine is on a business trip in Thailand for a month and I'm so proud of her. She just video called me telling me all about the experiences she had so far and showed me her apartment. Makes me genuinely so happy to see a friend's face glow with excitement as they're talking about their life.

Agreed. I kept looking into it after replying and their etsy also has over 350 reviews with not a single one being below 5 stars. All of them have very generic comments. They're also on Bluesky & Instagram if you want to ask them yourself but it seems obvious to me by now.

I'm 99,99% sure that image is AI generated. Meta AI to be specific. Looked up "The Frog Mage" and "Not Sad Media" to be sure. They belong to a guy called "Emo Bot 9000" who talked on Facebook about using AI in "their" images.
