Horrider and horrider. 'About 200 jobs are expected to go at Bangor University after it missed its student recruitment targets – the latest in a series of cost-cutting exercises affecting Welsh institutions.' 1/2

The 200 figure apparently also doesn't include those who've already signed up for the voluntary redundancy scheme over the last few months. In its '22 equality report, roughly half of Bangor's staff were reported to be part-time.

Do language attitudes correlate with actual language choice?
