I create materials for a living as a contract artist/freelancer. This is some of my work that i did for Scorn. More on my artstation. I'm pretty versatile with styles and topics but disgusting is definitely one of my favs. #substance3d #gamedev #gameart #gamedev #materials #textures #alien #horror
This is the first game that i have discovered via bsky exclusively. Really enjoying it so far. Reminds me of the sections in Death Stranding when you climb some mountains.
Time to climb! Cairn is available now.

Mount Kami awaits, unconquered.

This is what you trained for: fight for every meter of the climb and rise to the challenge.

First personal project of the year. Tiling bone pit mat. I use an atlas that i generated from a single photo with an experimental setup in Designer plus depth estimation (Moge2). I try to get close to Megascans quality with that but it's a bit hit and miss. #madewithsubstance #gameart #materials

Process animation from my Queen Victoria stamps substance. The portrait was based on the photo of a silver coin. Masks and hatching was generated procedurally inside Substance 3D Designer.

Saint Sebastian's Feast Day is a week away. 🫢

Are you ready to lean into the chaos that will be the 6th annual bake-this-random-Saint-into-a-bread-item experience?

Was searching for an account posting images of good looking pizzas for my interesting things starter pack. Apparently on bsky pizza means middle aged naked overweight dude. Every day i learn something new.

It’s incredibly humbling to be name dropped in someone’s portfolio day post and always a joy to see someone use some of my reference photos to make art.

Go give Alex your support cos that’s some good work going on with that building and texturing.
#Portfolioday has come back again, figured I'd just quote the old post.
I'm still looking for Remote positions in Environment Art, Full-Time, Part-Time or Contract
I've been working on a small personal piece based on @deswalsh.bsky.social 's reference photos of Turville St but it's not done yet

I did finish up my first sculpture of 2026. Some times I can only help things by bringing joy to folks.
So have a squish of beasts!

Hey #portfolioday

Good timing! After 15 years at @ubisofthalifax.bsky.social I today opened myself up to new (mostly remote) work opportunities.

Happy #PortfolioDay! 😄

I've been updating some old materials with stuff I've been learning since last year.

Super happy to feel a lot more comfortable in Designer 🤓

last night : seeing the northern lights when they were this strong and visible (you could see all the shimmering and dancing with the naked eye, it was just a bit less colour saturated) was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. utterly humbling and astonishing

You want to spread some positivity? Just highlight an artist or dev that’s inspired you and just get others to check them out. Don’t be afraid to talk about who you find inspiring and has influenced your work. We don’t work in a vacuum we are inspired by our peers so share that.

The algo on LinkedIn is pretty awful too. I hadn't properly used the site for a couple of years and was surprised to see a lot of interesting stuff from peers on my timeline. Only took 2-3 weeks of engaging and now it's almost all gAI sh*t and discussions.

This software is very fascinating. I think it would be cool for learning or as a tool to have somethings for shaders/materials that sits inbetween scripting and visual scripting. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWXC...
