I avoid adding recruiters to my network. I recently just removed one for spilling a whole bunch of AI garbage into my timeline.

Interesting. I haven't actually worked on any games that use texture res below 1k. Have you tried different methods when downscaling like nearest-neighbor? That should keep details sharp instead of applying an AA effect.

I always work in higher res when possible. You get free antialiasing for your masks and fine details are often crisper/sharper. But it's not always an option. I wouldn't be able to work in 8k for 4k textures with my rig and source files become ridiculously large and cumbersome.

X is a very unwelcoming place for artists now. The main issue being that our entire community has been infiltrated and poisoned by AI shit and AI bros. Everthing is derailed by people messing around in our spaces that should have no place there and the algo trying to force connect us with their bs.

Cool. Your company is now valued at 150 million $.

Lmao it's like the AI block lists that i use for bsky but they remove themselfes from my timeline.

Definitely wasn't me. I'm more of a Histogram Select and Histogram Range man.

Often it's just vibes. Imo instead of trying to understand every step of another artist it's better to just experiment with all the nodes and get a intuition for how you can manipulate things. Last year i had to work in other artists files and everyone just has their own unique way of doing things.

The grift is about transferring investment money into someones pockets. The economy behind it makes no sense otherwise. Like OpenAI creating a benchmark about solving 1 million dollar worth of real world tasks when actually this work will have no value left when done by an AI.

I called his bs when just a couple weeks ago he twittered that people just can't get enough of AI.

Germany has a TON of interesting and fancy ones. The search term is "Wasserturm".

What's next in medical school they teach quackery?
February 20, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Yea you're getting ripped off big time. 84 tabs with 200mg cost 339 Euro in Germany (of which the patient has to pay 10 Euro). So even someone with private health insurance and no coverage for medication would only pay a fraction of what they make you pay.

I've argued with an AI bro before who considered gAI procgen. My take is if a procedure can't be isolated and exposed to deterministically tweak the output to my liking then it's not really procgen in a practical sense and we don't need to bother to liken both techs to each other.

I never bothered with recruiters. Imho LinkedIn got ruined when they suddenly showed up. Don't see the point. If i'm interested in a place/project i will personally get in touch with someone. And if a company or a lead sees my work on AS etc. they can contact me if they want to work with me.
