I really wish I had dedicated a folder on my phone for all of the ugly and stupid and ridiculously expensive things Star Trek has come out with these last few years. It’s not just about the damn boots…it’s about all of their merchandise (or lack thereof)

Erin’s comment is fine, but you aren’t hearing the larger issue. There is no “less expensive” option. And maybe I want to wear them too, but still don’t have Fluevog money. They don’t market to the working class…just people who want to blow large amounts of money.

Dear Star Trek, yes, I like the new Academy boots by Fluevog. I would wear them a lot. No, I won’t pay 2/3 of my rent money for a pair. Can’t you even try to find a faux leather option for the more budget-conscious among Trekkies?
