Not a lot of modern music hits me these days, maybe the latest from Turnstile caught my attention for a minute. Squeaky Feet's sophomore album is different, elements of the music I have listened to for the past 40+ years, incredible composition and musicianship.

35 years ago today Fugazi, a band whose members included some of the founders of the DC punk rock movement released their debut album. The lyrics and message haven't really changed much since then. The album title is prophetic in a way.

Hard to believe this is over 20 years old.
