Illinois State had an incredible season that ended up just short of the FCS Championship. They are the first college football team to play 17+ games since the 19th century.

ESPN says their 33 non‑CFP bowls had average viewership of 3.1M, up 13% year‑over‑year; the highest non‑CFP bowl average since 2015-16 season.

Cheez‑It (9.1M) and Pop‑Tarts (8.7M) were the two most‑watched non‑CFP/New Year’s Six bowls since the 2019-20 season.

FCS Imperialism Map after #FCSChampionship! #CFBimperialism⚔️

Rules: FCS teams divide USA by closest county. Winner take territory until a loss (all go to winner), but teams can get back on the map by defeating others with land! FBS can't win their way onto the FCS map.
