I'm so sorry for this late reply but I've been doing caregiving for elderly family. I've paid out anything remaining in Sara's chuffed account and closed it on her request about 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard from her on Telegram either, which is why I also fear the worst.

Haven't been here for a couple of weeks due to major life changes in the family.

And I think all the time of how we have safe, clean hospitals here, no bombings, no ambulances being ambushed. Baker in North Gaza doesn't have that. He took this video.

ISRAELI FORCES MURDER FIVE MEMBERS OF AL JAZEERA'S GAZA STAFF

An Israeli airstrike targeted and killed journalists Anas Al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh and at least three other Al Jazeera workers who have been reporting on the genocide from Gaza. Al-Sharif posted a video of the Israeli bombardment shortly before Israel targeted the tent set up for journalists near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Camera operators Ibrahim Zaher, Moamen Aliwa and Mohammed Noufal are also among the victims.

It has to be a lot more since authorities said 6 months in there were too many bodies to count beneath rubble and in mass graves. The population of Palestine in Oct 2023 was 2.3M. The US estimated earlier this year it's now 1.5M. 800,000 dead is likely closer to the real number of victims.

3) only now starting to pay attention

We focus on Katniss's lead in the revolution, or martyrs who didn't make it to the end. When next you rewatch the trilogy, look for the kitchen staff making sure everyone in District 13 was fed. Or the nurses. Or the cleaners, or daycare staff. All these people will be vital in our revolution too.

I speak with Sara every few days, and she is convinced she is "unlucky" because she's unable to get enough in donations to get food for herself, her 10 y/o brother Amir, and their mother. Bluesky has deleted at least 10 accounts she's made, one after the other.
