To end 2025 Footpaths headed to the Tailwaters Trail at East Fort Lake State Park in Ohio. We had a few logistical surprises but in the end got the streamside views that we were seeking.

A late summer visit to Huffman Prairie put the photographer in one of her favorite habitats to photograph. This preserve has two types of prairie - wet and mesic, which is dry. Paired with the history of this parcel of land, it made for an outstanding outing.
