This is exactly correct & you can trace it historically. Because people believed (wrongly) that the Civil War pension system was riddled with fraud, it was a convenient reason to deny claims & not to provide monetary support to veterans after WWI, for instance.
One of the biggest impacts I’ve seen from the unproven idea that people are wrongfully using disability accommodations is that people stop trusting people with disabilities and in fact further restrict, remove, and demonize accommodations for people with disabilities in general

When Democrats regain majority in Congress (2026 midterms), they should make a priority of expanding the Supreme Court to 13. Also, I think it's important to repurpose the extravagant ballroom TFG is building. Transform it back to a "new" East Wing. & Remove Dem Reps who are not progressive.
