that one thread you did a while back about fish reference photos was so relatable. like what do you mean it has this exactly number of fin rays, But Also good luck because almost no photos of this dead specimen show the fins how you want them to be in the illustration 😭

The importance of knowing your audience or finding your niche! It’s natural as artists to try out different things and experiment over time, but if someone wants to run their own art business full time or do artist alley/craft fairs they need to find their niche/audience

like that moment when you go “oh shit!” and solve a problem you’ve been dwelling on for a long time? when you think of a new idea for a project or art you want to make? learning new things and applying that knowledge to something else? ai could never replace that joy I fear
