Badgers, whisky, gardens, cheese, cats. Important stuff like that.
Of course. With embroidered fittings and a choice of blades.

I think I might invest in a guillotine company. I can foresee a high demand in the not too distant future.

OMG you guys. This piece is so goddamn good. Like, John-Phillips-at-the-1990s-height-of-his-powers cackle-out-loud funny.

Yep - but we all knew who you meant 🤷‍♂️😁
Glad she's gone now, and I've no idea why Stephen was so upset about her.

I used to be very snobby about single malts, but as I've got older I've become far less bothered about what might be the "right"/"wrong" ways of doing things - if it works and you like it, just do it.

Some people can get very antsy about drinking Scotch single malts any way but neat/with a drop of water...

The way she's managed to move seemlessly from everyone's innocuous favourite little cuddly granny toooo - absolute power mad lashing out for no apparent reason or strategy (apart from being a cuddly Granny) - has been quite something.

Haha - and I've seen it. There's a lot of possibles.

Maybe narrow it down a bit?

I'm loving the progress that Kilchoman have made. Possibly my favourite distillery now, a range of fabulous whiskys and still independently owned.
Being that close to Machir Bay, one of my favourite place on earth, also helps.

Isn't that just Arsenal for at least the last 30 years though, just drilled to cheat?
Inused to have 5th row seats at Upton Park and when you see up close players quite blatantly fall and dive without even a hint of contact - and usually get away with it, it taints the whole game.

Mrs Rox is a big fan, so I've heard loads of her stuff too and although she's not exactly my cup of tea, I think she's great.
We very luckily got to see her at the London Palladium in 2022 and she was absolutely fantastic.

Yeah, when I first visited Islay in 1992 Bruichladdich was "quiet" i.e. basically closed/not producing, so it was lovely to go back a few times after Mark Reynier fired it all back up again (with the turquoise) in 2001, but it's never been quite the same since Rémy Cointreau brought it up in 2012.

I've not watched it either, and apparently I'm also an adult, but people say it's a bit scary and stuff and I hate scary stuff.

One for the whisky lovers...

It's an Old Fashioned, but due to the on-going USA thing, made with proper whisky rather than bourbon.

This bottle needs using up and tbh it works incredibly well.

Purists might not approve, but frankly I'm old enough to not care one jot 🥃

When I first visited Berlin there was an exhibition spread along a stretch of the old Wall. It detailed, country by Nazi occupied country, the main atrocities that had been enacted.
It was known as the 'Topography of Terror' and has now moved to a purpose built museum.

It's on the cusp here (Oadby) - heavy rain late this afternoon, it merged into sleet and then proper, settling snow about 90 mins ago but it's more sleety than snow again now.
