Figured I should start a thread here for my fics!
First but not least: early days wolmeric where I really worked out the foundation of Fraeswys as a character; spoilers through 3.4.

Fraeswys would try the Chrono Trigger gambit to hopefully save Moenbryda and bring her back in the present *without* erasing all her own resulting personal development and world-saving in between.
Fraeswys is an enthusiastic if not perfectly graceful dancer, mostly-learning new moves over her travels.
She still favors Limsan step, though she's a Square DNCer. Aymeric's taught her some Ishgardian ballroom; she prefers to lead.
And absolutely.
#wolQOTD
How well can your WoL/OC dance?
What's their favourite style of dancing?
Will they dance in public?
... oh no, Fraeswys would totally loudly riff on the movie and think she was hilarious. (Unless she had betters to impress.) She'd also quietly wolf down a worrying amount of popcorn.
So Fraeswys gets called "Frae" (pronounced ≈Fray) for short a lot, sometimes just by people who aren't comfortable with Roegadyn pronunciation; but Aymeric says it pretty romantically.
Fraeswys has long stopped caring about trying to be Conventionally Attractive or "pretty" vs. handsome; if some ABSOLUTE COWARDS can't handle a buff 7' green woman, their loss.
She's definitely hot, IMO, just a little more niche.
A #wolqotd because I'm bored on the train (probs one that's been asked before too)

How attractive is your WoL? Do people see them as being conventionally attractive, are they average or not attractive at all?
Axe Gal Solidarity! 🤝
Fraeswys enjoyed playing mentor but also picked up a few new techniques from the Turali traditions from Wuk Lamat herself. They became pretty good combat friends.

Fraeswys was also a HUGE Ketenramm fan and *totally* normal about somehow getting to meet him.
#wolqotd
did your WoL/OC befriend wuk lamat during their journey through tural or was it just a job to them?
are they closer to any of the other claimants or another NPC they've met?
okay there's technically some 2/1 in there, but Fraeswys is really 4 except the "loving home" from then on just happened to also be a pirate crew
Fraeswys's pirate crew kept a pretty small cut for themselves to give a lot to the poor. She's done the same with her adventuring earnings, especially after saving a little for retirement just in case.
#wolqotd Today my tarot deck drew the Four of Pentacles, a card with two meanings: stability and security, or greed and possessiveness.

When your character was growing up, how financially stable was their home environment? How has that impacted how they handle money today?
At this point Fraeswys entirely accepts the common "Fray-swiss" over the more strictly Roegadyn "-sveese". Many just shorten it to Frae.
(Which makes the DRK Fray stuff funny to me. She totally interpreted it as a roe name, practically her own, and then didn't think it was suspicious at all.)
Fraeswys goes on walks to clear her head a lot.
Fraeswys did NOT care for Aymeric at first at all. 2.x was a rough time for her, last thing she needed was *another* schemer treating her as a tool.
(He was nicer after, of course, but putting himself on the line for his beliefs in HW is what really started winning her over.)

What was your WoL's (Oc's) first impression of their future significant other? Was it love at first sight? Or did they perhaps have a wrong first impression?
Fraeswys wants to never lose sight of fighting for a cause, not for violence's sake. (If she can win without, even better: less risk, more live enemies to spread intimidating rumors to any others.) It's what sets her apart from... some.
But she DOES enjoy using it, and is very, very good at it.
Cyr... y'know, the dork from HW Hildi. A detective's gotta keep anyone they can trust...
(She's trying to unravel the Inquisition for keeping him out of town, among their many other offenses.)
Fraeswys coped by mostly staying mad at Zenos not even letting her fight herself, the ONE thing that could've been cool about it for her.
Her Inner Beast was stuck in her body, fighting Zenos for control KH-style. (His speech at the end's partly because he mistook it for The Real Her, not a part.)
She's built ties with most of the major factions, which would help with the contest AND governing.

She'd do it because:
-boat race sounds fun!
-she has a few disagreements with Merlwyb
-in peacetime, SOMEONE should relieve her and return Limsa to regular order eventually; she might've the best shot
So Limsa canonically "elects" a new Admiral by boat race. Proves they can form & lead a crew, at least.
Fraeswys would mostly continue Merlwyb's modernization efforts, ticking off some old pirates, but rule with less of an iron fist; build more proper institutions, introduce more democracy.

Your WoL is now a political leader. Maybe they found a new city state, was appointed King, earned a seat on the forum, got voted in, or got more involved as Khagan—sky's the limit!

What do they do, how do people/other leaders handle/percieve their leadership, and what are the consequences?
Fraeswys has picked up just enough Ishgardian to tease Aymeric.
She'd love to know more Old Roegadyn beyond what the Sea Wolves have kept for names.
#NewShiftNewQuestion | #wolqotd | #wolquestion

Does your OC speak other languages?

If not, what language would you think they'd want to speak?

If yes, how many, and what are they?
Fraeswys was a pirate trying to blend in in higher places. So she doesn't show much of a Limsan accent, but she's still a bit less formal than the major characters. Incomplete sentences, more contractions, "prob'ly" a bunch for some reason? Sometimes she slips back into nautical phrases.
#wolquestion #wolqotd
How would you describe your wol(oc)'s vernacular/dialect?
The end of ShB. Fraeswys gave up entirely but figured she had to try to do *something* and might as well at least die at sea... and then, somehow, didn't?
Fraeswys doesn't want to retire; being useful and important again as a mentor is the one thing she'd love about it. She'd go all-out as a sensei.
She'd really try to emphasize not doing things alone - both because possibly no one else could (*she* barely did!), and no one should have to.
#wolqotd Years have passed since the events of XIV, maybe decades, and your WoL/OC is in retirement. A new threat rises, and a new generation of heroes come to them for guidance/assistance. How do they respond?
Fraeswys could easily eat like 20 tacos in a sitting after a workout or adventuring, she can go through aether quick
When they got together after ShB, Fraeswys gave Aymeric her linkpearl, and (after totally dropping off at the end of EW) she's been doing her best to call all the time while off adventuring.
At least a contralto, possibly a tenor.
