So much of a beautiful rundown science fiction world is presented that it is a shame we spend a good chunk of screen time hanging out in some terrible future apartment. Fun for the most part with a killer soundtrack. Shame about Richard Stanley.

More like 'Tame Game' amiright? Doesn't go as far as advertised and hearing a dubbed Seymour Cassel really does take the air out the picture. Sondra Locke and Colleen Camp are well worth the price of admission though. I liked it overall but I don't know. Somethings missing. Maybe its the ending.

A rape revenge film that is far too well made to fall under the nitty gritty feeling of the exploitation genre but also too "slow" compared to the Charles Bronson movie Death Wish to be considered mainstream. Solid drama with Karen Young bringing the heat in carrying the film on her shoulders.

Astonishing. Although there isn't much to enjoy when it comes to gore, when it comes to horror, when it comes to excitement; I must admit that the soundtrack is pretty good. Not the greatest but pretty good. Shame about the movie. Excitement for Death Rider in the House of Vampires is growing.

Highlight of Beyond Fest: Hearing Guillermo Del Toro talk shit about Bob Weinstein before the Hellboy screening.

Saddest Moment of Beyond Fest: Being caught by surprise that Arrow Video was selling blu-ray's and I was dead broke :'(

I have just received this movie showcasing eyeballs for nipples and excitement is growing but alas, I cannot view this tonight :(

I did not know that this film existed until recently. I looked into it and read the following from the wikipedia:

"The first segment, "The Albino Spider of Dajette," depicts a Parisian sex worker named Dajette, who has eyeballs for nipples..."

After reading nipples; I knew that I must see this.

Not a scare in sight but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

A far better outcome than the film itself so a thumbs up!

I live under a rock but I thank you for the play by play updates. I am enthralled beyond belief over this current situation.

Glad to hear the score is now 1-1 when it comes to Thomas Pynchon adaptations.

A fun documentary into the past careers and then current lives of two men, David F. Friedman & Dan Sonney, who made their mark on the greatest film genre; Exploitation. Such films such as Blood Feast, She Freak, and The Defilers. Not too in depth as much as I would have liked but still great!

Ventured into LA to check out that 4k remaster of 'Jacob's Ladder' and its GREAT! The film looked absolutely fantastic and the crowd that went in to see it were riding the same wavelength and that made it all the more enjoyable.

Another weekend, another Macbeth adaptation. Kurosawa keeps the camera moves simple and lets Toshiro Mifune steal the show. Bringing in a spirit in the Noh fashion was a solid decision. Great stuff all around but Lady Macbeth doesn't biff herself so no Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow soliloquy.

A movie that can never be compared to anything else Hollywood had popped out in the past quarter century. A true original telling of the classic tale of a struggling artist. What a shame the world as a whole refused to help a true artist flourish within the studio system. c'est la vie.

Roger Corman sure knew how to make a movie; especially if he managed to get someone like Richard Matheson to write the script. Though not my favorite Poe adaptation, its still a pretty solid movie all around. As expected, Vincent Price steals the show with everyone else trying to play catch up.

If there was ever a movie to tarnish your career with then this is a pretty good one to do it with. Mark Lewis filming murders to make his masterpiece with the climax being a Seppuku like ritual with a camera when the police come knocking. Derangement is the curse that a talented artist must suffer.
