Had the nicest Turkish Cypriot customers in today. Spent a couple of hours with them and at the end they invited me to visit them in Northern Cyprus. I didn’t have the heart to tell them my other half is Greek Cypriot and he’d kick me to the curb if I went to the northern side.

New dinner set and cutlery arrived in time for Christmas. Looks lovely but I’m not overly impressed with the quality. Really rough on the bottom. Not what I expect when it’s 💷💷💷 Had to lightly sand it so it doesn’t mark my wood worktop 🫤

I took a load of jeans to a charity shop in Saturday and I’m still left with more than I should have. I really need to learn to cull clothes better.

Fell off a roof 5 months ago, shattered both heels, broke an ankle, some bones in my feet & 1 heel is displaced. I’ve been in constant pain since then & I’m sick of it. I can walk short distances & can only be on my feet for short periods. Dr’s say I have a year of this & will never fully recover 😢

Home office cleaned up. Not sure what colour I’m gonna paint it yet but the grey has to go.

The massive mirror by the chandelier is crooked. The builder put the bolts in uneven. Gonna have to take it down and move the bracket. It was a ball ache to get it up there.

All my lounge furniture is this black Lombok stuff and I hate it because it always has dust on it. You clean it and 20 seconds later it’s dusty. Contemplating either stripping it back to wood and lacquering it or just painting it a neutral colour. Opinions?
