I'm optimistic. I believe the minority at this time, given he is unknown and he has a tall order. landing a deal that works for us with USA, making measurable moves towards 2%+ of NATO, kick starting Canadians investing in Canada supporting our companies would be his ticket for a majority next.

In trade, there are two sides. so all the west buy more from China sure. Is China going to buy from the West? Can they afford what the west has to offer, don't they too want to build it in country first. I think they have shown they want to trade to fund the build locally....

#tariff, the usa republicans can't, won't raise income taxes and consumption taxes as this is a big no no, ideologically speaking for that party. The next best thing to raising taxes are tariffs, an indirect taxe to the consumer. Could it be that simple?

Dans un 1er temps oui supporter avec des liquidités, mais il faut préparer maintenant le moyen terme et le long terme. C'est donc créer un environnement favorable à cette diversification, et aux investissements privés et cad, nécessaires.
