For anyone who doesn’t know me, hello! I’m a disabled 40 yr old in the tail end of recovery from a major surgery. I spend a lot of time thinking about video games, ttrpgs, anime, books, and electronic music. Likely to mainly post about the gaming side of things, especially older games or arpgs 😊
Inspired by my recent love of Kings Field and similar games inspired by it like Lunacid and Verho, I’m trying out an Elden Ring first person mod alongside Reforged, and it is incredible! It’s amazing how much a perspective shift changes the games feeling:

There’s few things I love more in gaming than finding s well hidden secret on my own. This is a secret room off a secret room in Verho, and it even has its own song that is hauntingly beautiful

Well I may have had my minor miracle! My dictor actually approved it today, and I was able to get a hold of the pharmacy. I still have to go through the mail order one due to a mixup 🙄, but I might if I’m really lucky get it one day before I run out.

It really sucks that barring a minor miracle tomorrow, thanks to the bullshit around opioid medications here in the US I’m going to go into withdrawal over next weekend 😞. Hate how much of a pain it is to get medication to just feel closer to normal

Something that has been a pleasant surprise for me: I love wearing my wedding ring, and I also really enjoy the little rituals of taking it off and putting it back on when using the bathroom/showering 😊. I also think I like rings in general? Look out world on a few years time I’ll be like Yoshi P 😆

Either I’m now too old to understand gaming ads or this is quite possibly the worst ad I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t going to buy an Alexa anyways, but if I ever was going to be persuaded, this 100% killed that chance.
