5 Birch were investigating air resistance. We had to create something to protect an egg when dropped from a height. Sadly, this group learnt that they should have used a parachute to slow its fall!

Nursery children were keen to talk about what they did before they went to nursery. We looked at some action pictures from morning routines to support our discussions about what the children did before coming to nursery.

We identified the noisy things that were keeping Mr Bear up.
We developed fine motor and reading skills - drawing pictures to retell the story.
One child said he could have breakfast to make him feel better in the morning. We looked at favourite breakfasts.
