Reception have been learning about how to stay warm in the colder weather. Some of the children spoke about how they like to have a warm drink, so we decided to make some hot chocolate with marshmallows as a treat.

Talk at Home
Mattel has made a new Barbie that represents autistic people. She comes with noise-cancelling headphones and a fidget spinner. The doll was made with help from the autistic community so more children can see themselves in toys!

Reception enjoyed launching their rocket into space and landing on the moon. They had a great picnic, just like Baby Bear in the story Whatever Next.

We have had a very busy week in reception. The children have enjoyed pretending to be astronauts. They have been all over the place - including a visit to mars and the moon!

UKS2 had a fantastic video session with author Humza Arshad. They loved hearing about his characters and inspiration for them. We even got to ask him who was his favourite character!

The Football Association has published a review looking at behaviour in football across England. It wants to ensure football practice and matches are safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone. The review encourages everyone to play their part in supporting and following values of positive behaviour.
