The levy will now cover sugary milk-based drinks and lowers the sugar threshold from 5g to 4.5g per 100ml.

In this study, we listened to the voices of children & young people in North East England—hearing not just what they consume, but why.

New Fuse research @teessideuni.bsky.social reveals a concerning picture of how children in North East England perceive energy drinks. Over 80% of the 13–14-year-olds surveyed consume them - many several times a week - despite health risks and voluntary sales bans. ⬇️
