We silently held up ABOLISH ICE signs during the anthem, and security came to our seats and said if we didn't hand them over they would have LASD remove us from the game. I asked if it was the stadium rules, and security said it was the team's decision. So there's that.

For the younger USWNT generation…this is how the vets handle social issues. Pretty simple, do the right the thing and support people trying to do good not harm.
Our thoughts are with the people in Minnesota and across the country who are bravely standing up for their neighbors despite violence committed by ICE. If you are looking for a way to support the people of Minnesota, we want to highlight the work being done by the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.
