I honestly feel this so hard. While most people i work with know I'm bi, none know I'm trans, I never explained to any why I changed my name, just that I "wanted to". I even picked a gender neutral name so I could at least experience some joy regarding that (i do love my chosen name though!)
What’s hard for me is working in an industry that tends to be very right-wing and conservative. I’m a different person at work, in every sense.
The mask I have to put on to survive day to day is exhausting to maintain.
