The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - 2007 (DS)
I was a little skeptical of going into it after playing Spirit Tracks first and felt it was too gimmicky and bland. I'd have to say PH was better than it in every way and had a lot of charm. It's far closer to what I want out of Zelda.

It's been 15 years since my sister's car accident and it's definitely hit me harder than usual this year. Remember to appreciate those you love because you never know when it'll be the last time you see them.

My thanksgiving dessert this year was a cheesecake flavored with a birch beer reduction, crust made from a combo of almond cookies and graham crackers, and topped with vanilla frosting mixed with root beer extract. I love how it turned out!

I find that some games are incredibly fun drunk and others are not, and the results are more surprising than you think. For example, Halo 3 is far more fun drunk than sober, but Crab Champions is definitely better sober. I want to figure out what makes a good drunk game vs one that isn't good.

I took 1000mg acetaminophen and my neck still hurts. I've been avoiding muscle relaxers because they make me tired, but I may have no other choice for today.

Clock Tower - 1995 (SNES)
I've yet to get the S ending, but after having gotten every other ending I can say that it's a fantastic game. A ton of subtle details and differences between playthroughs really make this game shine in unique ways.

In RCT I like how guests won't go in a hedge maze even if they have an umbrella. Like, oh no, I might have to get lost while not getting wet instead of not getting wet and walking in a crowd.
