Gnosia - 2019/2022 (PC)

This wasn't necessarily my first time through it, but all of my previous experiences were couch co-op style. It's a fantastic VN with an addicting gameplay loop, and incredible considering the small size of the dev team. A fantastic cast and story with incredible art.

R.I.P Michael Parenti. A brilliant educator and writer whose works expressed so many ideas in ways that were easy to digest.

I made the mistake of saying that the ICE agent was in the wrong on my personal Facebook and got my aunt sending me a fucking Asmongold video on Messenger as some sort of gotcha. I feel both angry that my family is defending this shit & insulted someone thinks I could be convinced by that dullard.

Bambi - 1942

This isn't the first time I'm watching it, but the first I've watched it since I was a kid. It's a solid coming-of-age film, but I'm going to forego a review and simply state that I made this post entirely because Thumper is a little motherfucker.

After 12 years of playing on and off I've finally finished every original RCT scenario in RCT1 (I didn't start playing 12 years ago, I started this specific set of saves 12 years ago).

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - 2007 (DS)

I was a little skeptical of going into it after playing Spirit Tracks first and felt it was too gimmicky and bland. I'd have to say PH was better than it in every way and had a lot of charm. It's far closer to what I want out of Zelda.

RIP to SATA DVD player I ripped out of my Dell XPS from high school and used in every computer since. Enjoy your time in the great Best Buy in the sky.

My thanksgiving dessert this year was a cheesecake flavored with a birch beer reduction, crust made from a combo of almond cookies and graham crackers, and topped with vanilla frosting mixed with root beer extract. I love how it turned out!

Yakuza 4 - 2010/2021 (PC)

3 was an interesting departure from the standard formula of Yakuza and 4 was an even more interesting one. A story with 4 main characters whose stories come together in very interesting ways. The story was thematically brilliant, however I wish it were a bit longer.

Clock Tower - 1995 (SNES)

I've yet to get the S ending, but after having gotten every other ending I can say that it's a fantastic game. A ton of subtle details and differences between playthroughs really make this game shine in unique ways.

Little Nightmares III - 2025 (PC)

While I don't think it's nearly as bad as people are making it out to be, I do think the new devs stuck too close to the original games making it seem like an imitation rather than a new game. It was still fun, but had some frustrating platforming sections.

Silent Hill f - 2025 (PC)

Absolutely amazing entry to the series. Ryukishi07's fingerprints are all over the story, but in a way where it still feels unmistakably like Silent Hill. The story is full of amazing twists and the combat is better than I expected it to be. I'm excited to try NG+.

System Shock: Enhanced Edition - 1994/2018 (PC)

I can see why this game was so influential. Very much ahead of its time in pretty much every way. Fuck the 3rd stage specifically, but the rest of the game is cool. The final boss fight made me feel like I was in the movie Hackers.
